60 Roma + 41 WCs = A Divine Appointment

Day 3: Wow! Today was incredible! We woke up bright and early to begin working with the Roma. We were unsure of how many would show, but we believed that God would send exactly who we needed to see. The Roma pastor estimated that we’d have less than what a bus could hold. (FYI a bus holds around 50 people.) We ended up having a little more than a busload! Praise God! The World Changers began welcoming our Roma guests with hugs and hellos. We were told that most of the Roma would be shy and slightly nervous, but the majority of them were VERY excited to see us.

We used puppets, we danced, played games, held babies, painted fingernails, gave facials, served them dinner, and made salvation bracelets. Words cannot do justice what happened among 60 Roma and 41 World Changers. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…

Wanna see your kids in action? Check back tomorrow for videos! :)

Thank you for continuing to pray for us. Will you add something else to your prayer list? There is currently a Roma church being built (see previous blog post). This church is on hold right now while they wait for money to come in. Will you pray about that for them? We're believing that the building will be finished sooner than later.

  6. Hi, all! Thank you so much for sharing pictures with us. I heard something about video and that makes me so happy...bring me some action shots, please:) I ran into a couple of people from PCC today and we were commenting on how we have TWO mission teams in teh field right now. Isn't that exciting to know that across oceans there's another team sharing the love of Jesus? My prayer for you is that you find that true personal connection that I know God has set aside just for you. Keep the pictures coming! I love and miss you all and of course, my little RayLee:)

  7. Isn't it interesting how our team didn't really know what to expect, but God blessed the commitment, in addition to the planning?! I'm so thankful for how all of you are using your gifts and remaining dedicated to serving people. This is EXACTLY what Jesus calls us to do. We're so proud of you!

  8. Father... Today as I was worshipping a song came on that had the words 'let me fill the needs of the needy" and I could not help but think of the most beautiful, Samara and feel overwhelmed at the gift of sharing in her life. Her love and heart for those who NEED to know Your love is a blessing to so many. Continue to use her as she speaks through her actions, just like love is supposed to be. Protect her and keep her safe and bring her home with a heart full of more God Moments to share. All my love to each PCC member serving. Amen
