You Deserve a Break!

Day 5:  Our IWC participants and translators have worked very hard so far so it was time for a little break.  We traveled to the BEAUTIFUL Lake Ohrid.  The forcast was for a 60% chance of rain.  How much did we see?  ZERO %.  Oh yeah, that's right!  Thank you God for your provision of a priceless day.

Our first stop was a trip to the top of a mountain between Lake Prespa and Lake Ohrid.  There we formed a large circle around a natural basin.  Elijah led us in "God of this City" while our Field Rep gave us some prayer points.  First, we claimed the mountain back for God (there were signs of anceint sacrificial worship).  Second, we prayed for the nations.  Third, we prayed for the people to hear the GOOD NEWS.  Elijah's voice was amplified by the natural basin where everyone could hear and we were able to sing along with an echo effect.  It was vey powerful.

Our next stop was for lunch in a beautiful roadside picnic area where we enjoyed a tasty lunch.
And finally, we got to shop, sightsee, distribute cross necklaces and bible DVD's.  We finished off the day with a fantastic meal at a waterfront restuarant.  Everyone had a great day.

Enjoy the pictures and don't forget to check back tomorrow as we begin our time in Bitola running a camp and doing construction at Tevig's church.  Please pray for us and we begin this second leg of our time here in Macedonia.

  1. Father in Heaven.... When I see the gorgeous smile of Sydni I am overwhelmed at the sincere devotion that is in her gaze towards the people...your people...who need to feel Your love. Her devotion to serve and to go and to just do is so natural that I am grateful for the ease in which she follows Your word. Thank you for her authenticity and continue to fill her heart with abundant blessings and Your passion for those who need You. Guide her as she completes her camps and protect her as she returns to PCC to continue motivating and inspiring others to give You their all. What a gift to know her and see her heart and talents in action. Praise you Father for speaking through her. Daily. In your Son's name.... Amen.
