Arrival Day! All the Pieces Have Come Together

Today, thrity-two tired but smiling people stepped off the plane and placed their feet on Macedonian soil.  This marked the beginning of a journey that they have anticipated, worked for and prayed about for months!  We all have our stories.  Stories of why we were called to THIS place, for THESE people and for THIS time. Over the next week, those stories will be revealed. God will peel back the layers of our individual purpose here. Pray that we are open and obedient to that purpose.

Tonight, our speaker was a national believer and he challenged us with this scripture:
"That night Paul had a dream: a Macedonian stood on the far shore and called across the sea, 'Come over to Macedonia and help us!' The dream gave Paul his map. We went to work at once getting things ready to cross over to Macedonia.  All the pieces have come together.  We knew now for sure that God had called us to preach the Good News to the Europeans."  Acts 16:9-10 (The Message).

Thank you for all your support and prayers.  We know for sure that God has called us to preach the Good News to the Europeans [insert "Roma"] !

Enjoy the pictures and we'll keep them coming!
(FBC-Rusk, just so you know...your group made it!  They just slipped by before any pics could be snapped.  Promise many more to come!)

  4. First Steps servers took time today to read Mandy's prayer for Sunday (and many took copies home so they could continue to pray for you guys!) We also read Acts 16:9-10 and took a moment to realize that as we spoke and prayed, you all were in that very same place, Macedonia. We are proud of you, supporting you, praying for you, and we know that you will not only be exhausted (b/c it comes with the territory), but exhilarated with the amazing things God is doing through you!
